England and Wales Cricket Board
TMG CRB processes all criminal record check applications on behalf of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). Based in Nottingham, TMG CRB is a CRB Umbrella Body who provide a service for many major clients including many governing bodies of sport.
TMG CRB will be responsible for administering the process. ECB will continue to make all suitability decisions and administer non-UK checks.

We have created a free TMG CRB ECB support pack. This user-friendly pack has been specially designed to guide both the employer and applicant through the criminal record check process.
On 1 December 2012 the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and the Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) will merge to form the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
The current CRB application form will be replaced with a new DBS application form. The new form will reflect the change of name from CRB to DBS and a new logo, together with some wording and format changes. All key processes and information required to complete the application form remain unchanged.
- DBS application forms will be available for use from 1 December
- You can continue to use your current stock of CRB application forms until 31 January 2013
- From 1 February 2013 only DBS application forms should be used
- Any old style CRB application forms received after 1 February 2013 will be invalid
