Why CRB?

The CRB process enables an employer to access information from the police, the Department for Education (DfE), the Department of Health (DoH) and the Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) in one single step. As part of the recruitment process, a CRB Disclosure can help determine the suitability of an applicant for the post.

An Enhanced Disclosure is usually recommended for childcare and work with vulnerable adults.
